Mollycake

I checked out this very chic, clean, and colourful bakery this weekend. Finally a bakery that understands me. Mollycake is located in Burlington Ont. And offers your sweet tooth an array of delectable treats. The best part is, there are no cupcakes in Mollycakes showcase. For my new readers Cupcakes and I do not mix well, and for my old readers you know the story. Although cupcakes can be made to order, there are so many other sweet treats to enjoy. French Macarons, Tarts, Pastries, Bars, Squares, Cookies and Confections. Christine the owner of Mollycake told me a funny story about “The Cookie” get in this place buy a cookie, listen to the story and enjoy, it’s worth it!. There are no limits to the custom cakes that can be done. I love this place because it has that downtown Toronto feel, right here in the Burbs. Also all products are made on premises, with real ingredients, nothing processed. Christine takes the time to put her special sweet touch on everything she produces in her shoppe. I noticed when I went to pay for my sweet treats. Their was a big green egg on the counter. As intuitive as I am, I asked what it was. Christine told me that every donation put into the Green Egg, goes to the Princess Margaret Hospital. A business that gives back is always very thoughtful to me. Mollycake is not your average cake, pastry, tart or anything. It’s a bakery with an intriguing spin on filling your day with Sweetness.
