Up

The Anchor Bar may be known for there wings, but taking care of their customers, they can take a lesson or two. Frank & Teressa if your reading this, read carefully. I came to the Anchor Bar with thirty….yes I said thirty people, Hungry and ready for wings. We had rented the ice at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton for an Alumni game. After the game we asked where to go to get a bite to eat. They told us The Anchor Bar, and if you, let them know Copps Coliseum sent you,you get a group discount. Here’s where my article gets messy. I say all the time, I did not get into this business for the discounts or perks. I got into this business because I love great food and look for that one in a million customer service. After tussling with the manger to get our group discount, she pretty much brushed us off, and ignored us. Again customers keep your business open. Thirty potential customers that may have come back to The Anchor Bar, but will think twice about it now. Whether or not if we were told about a discount, it’s just the way it was handled. I will say the wings were great, and I watched what everybody else ordered, and it looked satisfactory. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our waitress was quick, and on the ball. So for that I give a thumbs up. For everybody that owns a restaurant, I know…it’s business, but your customers are your business. Tell your Managers on duty to show a little respect, without your customers they would have no job!
