DOKKAN Fine Halal Food

My Middle Eastern weekend continues, Dokkan Fine Halal Food is butcher shoppe,restaurant, fine food shoppe and much more. The meat counter is a beautiful site of chicken,beef,& lamb. It’s any meat lovers dream,this place is different.You have your choice of Halal meat,that is already marinated and ready for you to take home,and put on your BBQ. Also you can pick any cut of halal meat, and have it prepared right before your eyes on the charcoal grill. Don’t forget about the hot table,where you can come in and get some great dishes,for a quick lunch or dinner. Dokkan has butchers on site, cutting and preparing all cuts of Halal meat. It doesn’t stop there,this family business knows how to do things,as Mai the manager on duty,walks me threw the different types of honey,syrups,teas,spices,breads & olive bar. I can go on about this wonderful place, but you will have to come and check it out for yourself. Mai also mentions the wonderful desserts prepared all in house.(Mai your recommendation for the cookies was bang on,they melted in my mouth)I must say this will be my new favourite place. The Egyptians have finally come to Burlington, it’s about time. Mai next time I visit,can you please make me a Chicken Shawarma,that’s the only thing I did not see.
