My old school,St Ann’s Father Loftus in Ancaster Ontario, celebrated their 60th Anniversary tonight. As I walked threw the halls,I once thought were enormous, are now so small. I watch all the kids running around, that are now students at St.Anns and say to myself “I was once that small person” I head to my grade two classroom where it all began and sigh at how it has not changed much. The gym tonight was a gathering place, I remember it as my favourite part of the day. You see people say let go of the past, but for me St.Anns was not just a grade school I went to. It was the beginning of friendships I still hang on to. I remember meeting my first friend in Mrs. Brennan’s class, Playing on the playground, and just being a kid. Let go of the past…..what for, that’s what memories are made of. Thank you St.Anns Father Loftus.

Melissa Thank you for the warm welcome.
Andrew it was great to see you and your family.
