I was asked by some of my relatives, to head out to African Lion Safari. I have never been, and you know me I try anything once. We pull in,and head over to the Safari, you know where you drive threw with your car. There are large gates that open and close, almost like you can get in, but can’t get out. They let a certain amount of cars in at a time. The Jurassic Park experience begins. You are in the Game Reserve, as you drive threw and start to see these exotic animals, your head just transforms itself to being in the Safari. It’s awesome. I start to see Lions,Cheetahs,Zebras,Rhinos,Giraffes, and the Monkeys.I had monkeys all over my car in a matter of minutes, it’s so wild to be so close to these outdoor creatures, that normally you would not see.I was an animal,in an animal habitat,WOW! Colonel G.D Dailley founder of this phenomenal park had a great vision. This park also has birds on display. Such as owls, peacocks, vultures, & eagles. They bring Elephants and Cheetahs out to explain to the public, what these creatures like, dislike, and give a little bit of history on the animal. To top things off you can take a ride on an elephant as well,(I had to try it ).There is also a huge water park, where kids can cool off and enjoy summer. There is a lot to see at this park, its great for families or just a day out.I must admit this park is very well put together, and extremely clean. Staff is also very polite, and very knowledgeable. We had lunch, which my relatives brought, Sandwiches from Nardinis in Stoney Creek, Mortadella,Porchetta, & Prosciutto on a fresh panini bun. Delish! Thank you for lunch guys, and while eating. They have the elephants come out and take a dip in the pond right next to where you are eating. Come on where else can you see that. What a great day, the weather was sunny and spectacular, the company wicked, and the experience unforgettable.
