Halloween is one of my favourite somewhat holidays. It’s really interesting, to see what each year brings. Who’s the in character to be. This year was Little C’s first time going out, to the Burlington Mall for trick or treating. I’m not one of those parents who dress their kids up each year as babies….just because. I figured Carmine is getting old enough to understand what Halloween is, and that’s when this holiday becomes fun. Although we tussled with his costume Monday he wanted to be ( Sonic ) Wednesday ( Spider Man ) Thursday (Iron Man ) you get the picture, and by the time Sunday came we decided on Spider Man with a side of Iron Man. We headed out to the Burlington Mall for there annual Halloween Spooktacular Event. I was really impressed with all the costumes, not only on the kids, but on the adults as well. Also good job to the characters that dressed up, for all five of the themed photo stations. Jack Sparrow, Cinderella, The Mummy, The Witch, and the Scarecrow. All with an abundance of energy, to welcome each and every child that came to see them. Carmine was a little apprehensive at first, and like any three year old, the costume was off before I knew it. There was also face painting, and selected stores handed out candy to the kids as well. The event took place from 12:00 to 4:00pm and it was wicked to see the Avengers, Skeletons, Bumble Bees, and so much more. Of course we all have a little kid inside us, so I got in on this event as well. After all is said and done, we all went home with our bag full of Candy!
Happy Halloween Everyone.
