Once in a while, I like to do what I call The Running of the Bulls. Most of you may know it as going in for Take Out Cuisine. I will walk into a restaurant go over the menu, ask a few questions then order. It’s important to know that the establishment is not only taking care of the in-house guests, but the ones that do not want to dine in the establishment as well. Hakka Fresh gave me a new outlook on Chinese cuisine. Hakka which is derived from Southeastern Chinese provinces, gave me a taste of many different parts of China. I always like to ask “What do you recommend” I do this to see if the staff know their product “DISHES”. The decor is made up of dark woods, and warm colours. The Take-Out desk is presentable and if you look closely you will find a bowl, which consists of fennel seeds and sweet little candies. This is to cleanse your palate (a very different take on just mints in a bowl). The gentleman I spoke to was very knowledgable in giving me my lesson on Hakka Chinese Cuisine. My vegetarian Spring rolls, were vegetarian. My deep-fried Spicy Shrimps on the other hand were magnificent, the flavours popped in my mouth, with each bite a different spice coming out enhancing my taste buds. The Szechuan fried rice with chicken and shrimp was plentiful, large pieces of shrimp and chicken surround this fusion dish, accompanying light fluffy rice, vegetables, and spices. The Chilli Chicken was nothing to look at, but once you take a bite of this interesting dish it’s packed with spicy ethnic flavours, make sure you try this dish with the steamed rice. Our Sweet & Sour chicken with pineapple is always a crowd pleaser, I love anything paired with pineapple. The last dish I will speak about is the Hot Garlic Fish. I am always weird about ordering fish for take out. I have to tell you Hakka Fresh has changed my mind. This dish was savory, full of garlic, and the fish was very tender, the infused flavours left me wanting more. Hakka Fresh although it may have an unusual name, has created a very different take on Chinese cuisine. I will definitely be going back for another Hakka lesson. So if you’re wondering was the take out just as good as eating in. The answer I would say is absolutely.

This design is spectacular! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my
own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what
you had to say, and more than that, how you presented
    it. Too cool!
