This was my second year attending the Food & Drink Fest in Hamilton Ont. I love attending any type of event, that involves intriguing cuisine and inviting beers and spirits. I enjoyed a delicious and authentic Pad Thai, with coconut shrimp from My-Thai Restaurant. Rapscallions Rogue Eatery & The Alex Restaurant offered me some spectacular whole grain mustards, that popped in my mouth as I enjoyed my sample bites. Hogtown Brewers ( Love the name ) was getting everyone into the mood by offering some Hogtown Ale. I am not a beer drinker, but from the crowd at their booth it must have been Hogtastic. Ora Italian Kitchen & Bar was serving up Arancini ( crisp & gooey rice balls, Italian comfort food…Well mine anyway ) and cannoli’s who can resist a cannoli. Hot sauces, schnitzel, imported cheeses, crab cakes, pies, tarts & live entertainment. Mr. Grenville Pinto and his phenomenal violin skills, graced the stage. I love watching this guy play, he takes playing a violin to a whole other level it was Indomitable. It’s always a sociable pleasure, when you meet people who are having just as much merriment as you are at these shows. Marion, Wendy, & Ann it was great to meet you ladies don’t ever change, your infectious attitude keeps all of you young. This years Food & Drink Fest was another pleasurable visit. Thank you to all the exhibitors for welcoming me. Eat Well, Have a Drink and Toast Life.
