Daytime Grill

Good Morning! I’m not a breakfast person, give me a cup of joe and I’m good to go. Now ask me to go for French Toast and I’m there. I can eat French Toast for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. So when I checked out the Daytime Grill in Burlington Ont. I knew I was going to start my day off right. The decor, a bright yellow, like a sunny side egg. The vibe electric, I’m greeted right away by the owner Good Morning! Good to see you, Welcome!
(I love that) your senses are lifted by the smell of eggs cooking, hash browns sizzling, and toast popping up. The chef is calling the waitresses names to let them know their orders are up, get them to the tables while it’s hot. If you have ever watched Bugs Bunny in his should of turned left at Albuquerque cartoons.(excuse me, I’m trying, can you tell me) you get the idea! But I say this in a good way. The service is constantly on going, as the ladies buzz around, they do not miss a beat. And customers are smiling. Our eggs were light and fluffy, stuffed with loads of spinach, mushrooms, and cheese, served with toast and plenty of hash browns, The French Toast lightly drenched in egg, and served with love, a little Maple Syrup and I’m in French Toast Heaven. Oh! and don’t forget the freshly squeezed O.J. The portions are very generous, so go hungry. The only negative thing to say is when paying your bill, if you have a line up, it backs up to where the waitresses are doing there order pick ups, so it can get a little difficult to maneuver around. It is true, Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so start your morning off right and pay a visit to the Daytime Grill.
