Hanging out in Brooklin Ont. today. I stumbled upon this brightly coloured candy shop. The Candy Bar is a unique sweet shoppe, very bright, very clean, and full of candy all from Sweden. The Candy Bar offers you, your own brightly coloured neon green scoop, to put all your sweets in. Here’s a neat little hygiene fact, once you are done with the neon scoop it goes in a bin to be cleaned. I thought it was neat. As you read about all the candies, they are labled with all the allergy notifications. Contains Peanuts, Dairy, Wheat it’s all there for you to see. I also found out that Carmine is a color how cute. The candies are also naturally sweetened by Sugar Beet, a plant that contains a high concentration of sucrose so it’s all natural, another great point. The presentation of the Candy Bar is neatly wrapped, as they say good things come in small packages, but do they. Here’s my sour note, everything is weighed according to what you put in your candy bag, it’s a very pricey process. I had my kid crew with me, filled the bags not even half full and my bill came to about $45.00 bucks. That’s a lot, for even Swedish candy. I also did not find the sweets I bought, to be very satisfactory. I found some of the chocolate left a waxy taste in my mouth, gummies a little tasteless, and the fudge did not taste silky and buttery at all on my tongue. Some may say I have no accounting for taste, I beg to differ. For now I will just stick to IKEA.
