Everything was just peachy, this evening as I attended the 46th Anniversary of the Winona Peach Festival. With plenty to see from Arts and Crafts,Rides and Midway,Free Entertainment, and lots of Food Vendors. The ladies at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish served up Sausage on a bun, It was very tasty, and if I didn’t know better I would say my sausage was homemade. What would a peach festival be without trying some peach cobbler, sweet, warm, tender slices of peach neighboured with clusters of oatmeal and cinnamon and a dollop of whip cream topped with a cherry, music to my mouth. Peter and Paula Peach walked the premises to make sure everyone was enjoying the festival. Plenty of people to enjoy all the different crafters, and there was a lot of them to see. The music was a take back, shake back with the sounds of Fever Musical Band playing everyone’s favourites from the seventies. They say you are as young as you feel, one gentleman I met,had his dancing shoes on and was ready to go. We danced slow,we danced fast and I must say he had swagger. A most memorable Peach Festival this year.
