Kansas City is best known for The Wizard of Oz,Jazz,the largest Stockyards in the U.S.A.and of course BBQ. I head down to Kansas City for business now and then, and had to try Arthur Bryant BBQ. I had gone to the original location for the full experience. Born and raised in the meat industry, I better know a thing or two about BBQ. Like a scene from Fried Green Tomatoes the smell of smoking ribs draws me in.  A guy outside manning the smokers and BBQ, what a site that’s what its all about. This family style eatery is still in original form. We ordered three slabs of pork ribs, they fall off the bone and melt in my mouth,the rub perfect,and the sauce, I can still taste it smokey, rich and lip smacking. I watch the door open and close as patrons leave with their orders. The walls are full of celebrities that have enjoyed this landmark that serves tasty ribs. Every time I head to Kansas, I stop over to the original Arthur Bryant BBQ king of ribs. Check out the wall you may see me there.
