On the weekend, I was asked to go to Hutches in Burlington.Well in the five years of living in Burlington my colleagues could not believe, I had not been to this Landmark of 1950’s food. Well anyone who knows me, knows I am a history fanatic, love old buildings and the history that comes along with them. Hutch’s has been around since 1946. And for the people that have been there long before me. To be right on the beach, have a great view, and be greeted by some great staff, and of course enjoy a burger fries milkshake,fish & chips and so much more, it was well worth the trip in the dead of winter. I ate my my meal and sucked in the nostalgic history of Hamilton Ontario. Mr.William Hutch although passed would be proud of this beach palace he created, If a young buck like me can come in enjoy a burger & fries and appreciate history! OSKEE WEE!
