Nothing makes my tastes-buds tingle more, than walking into a bakery while fresh baking is going on. Sugar Dust Bakery located in Port Hope Ont. Is pleasing residents with their freshly baked cookies, pies, scones, fruit squares, cupcakes, croissants and so much more. The smell is intoxicating, the only way to explain it to you, is its like coming home from school and smelling what your mom is baking in the kitchen. My cupcake argument, was quickly put to the test, while trying the Sugar Dust Bakery’s moist and delicious cupcakes (Yes they were really tasty). The bakery is a family owned generation of sweet success. My weakness was the Chocolate Almond Croissants. One bite of this light, flakey, buttery, almond and chocolate filled treat, transformed me into my happy place in Paris. The Chewy Ginger Snaps, just like my Na Na used to make, was pure ginger goodness. Among all the sweetness in this little bake shoppe. Sugar Dust Bakery also offers traditional tea on Sundays, with finger sandwiches, and little pastries (Very Victorian and Ladylike) served on grandmas china. it’s so cool!. If you need a pick me up!
