Out and about today, I came across a neat little place called the Punch Bowl Market and Bakery in Stoney Creek Ont. It’s a weird name, then… It came to me. This place is right next to The Devils Punchbowl, one of Niagara Escarpments most unique sites. This quaint market is made up of a 150 year old barn, turned into a market of seasonal plants, jams, jellies, sauces, chutneys, and something a little more different old school toys such as taffy, lunch boxes, and Pez dispensers just to name a few. You can also purchase in season fresh fruits and veggies. Now here’s where you get punched out, The Bakery! Wow! Freshly made every day, tarts, pies, cookies, sweet squares, quiches, everything to satisfy your sweet and savoury senses. If you want to bring some of this Punch Bowls baked goods home, you can fresh or frozen. The Punch Bowl also carries a secret dip this dip can be classified as very dangerous, because it can be consumed with veggies, fresh bread, spread on chicken and baked, the list goes on. You can also take your special treat and eat it outside in their seating area, and take a breathtaking look at the famous Devils Punch Bowl. As you walk around, make sure you go see Cowboy Sam and Vinny, take a buggy ride around the grounds its well worth it. I must say, this was a market I very much enjoyed. It was an unexpected visit packed with a lot of Punch!
