When I hear the word Pier, my mind pictures Cape Cod and lots of crates of Cod, Halibut, Scallops, Shrimps, Clams and so much more. When PIER 39 came to shore in Burlington Ontario, I sailed on in. A very urban atmosphere and open concept inside this new eatery. The owner of PIER 39 has 15 years experience under his fish cap, and it shows. We went in for Fish and Chips and we received Fish and Chips. A generous portion of light and fluffy Halibut straight from the Atlantic, home made tartar sauce, and a heaping pile of chips. Their is no way you are leaving feeling hungry. PIER 39 not only serves light & buttery battered fish and chips, they also have a great menu which consists of pasta, soups, wraps, sandwiches, and plenty of seafood. PIER 39 is also open for breakfast. With all my questions, our server was extremely patient in answering all of them, and she still managed to be on beat with great service. You know what I really enjoyed, no heavy feeling in your stomach, you feel satisfied not greaseified ( that’s my made up word for not bogged down by grease in your belly! ) If you have no where to go for St. Patricks Day…. Go Fishing to PIER 39.

Happy St. Patricks Day!
