I spent today with Mike & Carmine walking up along Lakeshore Rd. in Oakville. When we decided to stop for a bite to eat, Authentic Mexican Cuisine is what Maria Bonita specializes in. Antonio a jack of all trades, master in Mexican cuisine takes you right into the heart of his culture. This restaurant has also brought chefs right from Mexico “you can’t get any better than that” My appetizer was a different spin on ceviche, it was so fresh,tangy,and dressed with cilantro I could of eaten a whole bowl.Our meals of Flauntos or what I called the Three Amigos consisted of three tacos,one with fluffy potato, second moist chicken,and the third seasoned beef accompanied by lettuce, fresh cheese (which is made in house) onions,and sour cream. Enchiladas wrapped to perfection with shredded chicken,salsa,fresh cheese and sour cream was so savoury. The menu is also children friendly.We then ended our meal a Dulce de Limon, tantalizing our taste buds with this tangy lime dessert with cookie in between each layer, also made in house.
