Farmer Jacks Market

Are you ready! Another great local produce store has come our way. Farmer Jacks Market sources out local produce, and brings it right to us, right here in Burlington Ont. Farmer Jacks carries local apples, pears, local honeys, artisanal teas, my oh my the list goes on. Anyone for a smoothie, this crazy barn like market also has fresh smoothies made to order. When I hear the name Farmer Jacks, I automatically think of a big dude in overalls ( almost like a Mr. Green Jeans kinda of fella) I know I’m showing my age. One of the owners of this local hot spot is actually a Holistic Nutritionist, wow how healthy can you get let me tell you. I purchased a cold pressed detox power juice, it contained Kale, Cilantro, Grapes, Apple, Celery, & Ginger. I drank this power juice and I was on fire ( like Super Mario and the Energizer Bunny hooked up). There is also a fruit of the week section, each week they support a different local fruit. Farmer Jacks even offers the first piece of fruit from the local farmer on them. Upon looking at the hay stack displays, barn doors, brick walls, bar board shelves, & horse saddles. Farmer Jacks was an actual farm the owners used to go to and source out local produce. What can I say, I love the fact that we can support our LOCAL farmers.
