The Turkeys, and I went for a beer today. Although I am not a beer connoisseur, Rib Eye Jack’s Ale House in Burlington Ont. is like stepping into a classy Southern Man Cave, with deep pockets, and beer everywhere, World Class Beers, Rib Eye Jacks Great Big Draft List, Beginners List, Diet Beer, Beer for Two, yes they have wine known as the Grape List, and don’t forget the Tap the Cask!. Aside from the beer this Ale House has much more to offer. The menu has something for everyone. We started with some calamari, lightly dusted in seasoned flour, and served with lemon lime aioli, Great App. Oysters need I say more, served on a half shell, my second time having them I’m getting hooked. The Ale House burger was a half pound burger, served with all the fixings accompanied by a sunny side egg, we saved some of our potato scallion bun, to suck up the yolk drippings ( it was Scrumptious ). Little C ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with fries, thick cut fries my favourite. The only words that come to mind is Gourmet Goodness, Carmine loved it. The Seared Salmon was pan fried to perfection, it had a crisp golden sear on it, finished with a maple glaze served with a bacon whipped stuffed baker, and asparagus, every element of this dish went together like a well executed plan. The 16oz Rib Eye bone in steak, we ordered was dressed with mushrooms and onions, the plate also shared with a whipped potato of cheese, bacon & asparagus. Now when asked how we wanted the steak prepared, we replied medium, as Annise our server brought this dish to us, she stayed and said ( Sr. Please cut into your steak to make sure it was prepared to your liking) That’s how it’s done boys! Very Professional. I swear they must have fed that cow a ton of butter, because that Rib Eye melted in my mouth. Dessert was Death by Chocolate, and Apple pie wrapped in filo pastry, and a Carmine special sundae. All served with four spoons we enjoyed every bite of our sweet goodness. What a great dining experience. The first time in five years, that I have not done a large Thanksgiving event. The Turkeys and I went out and had a gobbling good time.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.
