They say Children are our future, So when I hear of children going hungry it makes me angry. When I heard about the Curb your Appetite fund raiser, I knew I had to attend and show support. The Halton Food for Thought awareness program helps provide breakfast,lunch,and snack programs for children of Burlington. What a great idea to bring Food and a Community together with 10 percent of profits going towards the HFFT. I recognized some regular food trucks,so I of course I had to try something different Luchador Taquero-Mexi Fusion did just that, I tried the Mexican Spring rolls,Spicy beef wrapped in spicy love, these spring rolls had great flavour with a touch of heat,accompanied by a sweet and sour sauce. I enjoyed all of them. I then headed over to the Flying Potato, I let Little C handle this one. Carmine is the King of French fries, after receiving our order I knew that their was no Curbing Carmine’s Appetite he ate all of them. Golden sticks of potato done to perfection with a light BBQ dust to them, Yum!.There were plenty of people arriving to support such a great cause. Nothing brings a community together like FOOD!
