Having worked for several years,in the St. Clair Ave West of Toronto area. I became familiar with the different cultural areas of the city. I met my husband at my place of business. And the majority of his friends were of the Maltese decent. I was introduced to the Malta Bake Shop one day, and tried a PASTIZZI, golden savoury layers of phyllo pastry, which you can have filled with cheese,peas,or spinach.
